A Big, Wet Rock

This morning as I sat in the living room holding Tiny Man, I felt like one of those big boulders in the middle of a river.  You know……the big, wet rocks that the little water rivulets flow around.  And I was the big, wet rock, and the children were the little water ribbons, rushing beside [...]

The Name. The Picture.

For all you comedians out there, his name is actually NOT Juan, and no, I will not be posting a picture.  Not because I don’t love each and every one of you very much, but because I love my kids more, and the creepy, scary, psychological train wreck that left a comment on my old [...]

So here’s something I discovered very recently and have been avoiding mirrors ever since.  Did you know that cottage cheese on the thighs of a very pregnant woman, are considerably altered once said woman is no longer pregnant, but postpartumly floppy and bouncy-but-not-in-a-good-way?
How so, you may ask?

THANK YOU [...]

So I sat in an empty tub last night and cried like a baby, with my husband watching helplessly.  And he only attempted one joke, and immediately realized what a bad idea that was, so it didn’t happen again.
Let me tell ya……it was a FUN evening!  Let’s just say that I found out that I [...]

A Warning……

for any of my blog readers who will have to be around our family in the next few weeks.  And that includes the people who will be in Walmart in a few days, and the other unfortunate souls who will pass us in the aisles of Goodwill later on in the week.
The kids?  So [...]

Ponderings

Last night as I was cooking dinner, 2-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old were being a little wound up.  As in, running and chasing each other through the house and then screaming simultaneously when they managed to meet up.  And it wasn’t at ALL annoying!
The game ended abruptly when they managed a head-on collision in the dining room.  [...]
