We’re Going to Need to Make Some Adjustments When We Move to Arizona, Aren’t We?

June 17, 2008

4-Year-Old has spent the last 2 days with one of those nebulizer face mask things on.  But it’s not connected to the tube thing that connects to the actual nebulizer box thingy.

I’m good with words, aren’t I?

I get that a lot.

Anyway, she seems to think it’s a snorkel.  (Because THAT would explain the whole thing, right?)  She talks about how she is going to go swimming with it when we go to the hotels on our way to Arizona.

You know….where it’s hot.

So she walks around with it over her face and nose, the blue elastic string around the back of her head, and she tries to talk to me with this thing on her face.  But it sounds like she is in a cave.

Wearing an oxygen mask.

With a speech impediment.

It’s times like these when I’m glad we live way out in the middle of nowhere.

Because a kid with eight brothers and sisters, walking around all day with a nebulizer mask on, is just NOT a positive advertisement for large, homeschooling families, is it?

Didn’t think so.
